Terms of use

Code Nine Labs, LLC · Last updated October 5, 2026

These terms cover One Roll, published by Code Nine Labs, LLC. On iPhone, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where the two differ, Apple’s applies to the licence.

Using One Roll

You may use One Roll for your own photography and to share rolls with others. Please don’t copy or resell the app, or try to get around its limits.

Shooting safely and fairly

A roll is a prompt, not a reason to take risks. Watch your surroundings, keep to the law, respect other people’s privacy and property, and don’t photograph where it isn’t allowed. Challenges and results are on the honour system: nothing is verified, and results are only ever compared on the phones involved.

Your rolls and photos

Your rolls and results are yours and stay on your device. Your photographs are yours and are not uploaded by the app. Rolls other people send you are theirs, shared with you to try.

The free limit and One Roll Pro

Without a subscription, One Roll keeps up to 8 rolls in the app. Saved, in-progress, finished and archived rolls all count, and so do rolls you import. Adding another past the limit offers you a choice: delete a roll to make room, or subscribe. One Roll never deletes anything for you. Pro removes the limit.

One Roll Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. The price and length of each plan, and any free trial, are shown in the app and on the store before you buy.

If your subscription ends, nothing you made is deleted or hidden. You keep your rolls, words, hints and writing, and can still run any roll. If you have more than 8 rolls, you keep every one; you just can’t add more until you are back under 8 or subscribe again, and you can’t make new Pro content until you subscribe again.

No warranty

One Roll is provided as is, without warranties. Writing produced by your phone’s model can be odd or wrong, and the time shown is your phone’s clock. To the extent the law allows, Code Nine Labs, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the app after a change means you accept it.
